Terms of Service

Altix is operated as a sole trader by Viktor (the "Operator", "we", "us"), trading as Altix. By creating an account you ("you", "the Customer") agree to these Terms.

Altix is intended for use by UK construction firms (limited companies and sole traders), not for personal use.

Altix is a web platform that helps you collect onboarding data from your workers, store certifications and identity documents, track expiry dates, and export training matrices. We may add or adjust features over time.

Altix is not a substitute for legal, tax, immigration, or health-and-safety advice. You remain responsible for your own compliance obligations.

You must keep your login credentials confidential and accept responsibility for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately at daster1708@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may invite team members (managers, accountants) to your company in Altix. You are responsible for the actions of users you invite and must remove them promptly when they leave your firm.

When you use Altix to onboard a worker, you act as the data controller for that worker's personal data and Altix acts as your data processor. Your processing instructions are incorporated into the Data Processing Agreement at /legal/dpa, which forms part of these Terms.

You confirm that you have a lawful basis to collect each worker's personal data and to share it with Altix as processor. You will deliver the privacy information at /legal/privacy (or equivalent) to each worker before they submit their data.

You agree not to:

• Upload data you have no right to upload, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
• Attempt to access another firm's data, probe security controls, or bypass rate limits.
• Use Altix to send spam, conduct phishing, or harass any individual.
• Resell or sublicense access to Altix without our written consent.
• Reverse-engineer the service or scrape it programmatically beyond the export endpoints we provide.

Altix may be free during a beta period; thereafter we'll publish pricing in-app and notify firm owners by email at least 30 days before any new charges apply. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically unless you cancel.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time for convenience by giving notice in-app or by email. We may also suspend or terminate immediately if you breach these Terms or create a material risk to the platform.

On termination, you can export your data through the self-service export and DSAR tools within 30 days. After 30 days we will delete your tenant according to our retention schedule.

Altix is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a contractual SLA. We may schedule maintenance windows and will give reasonable notice where practical.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by English law.

Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the greater of £100 or the fees you paid for the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, or loss of data beyond that we are required to retain.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to firm owners by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
